Who is Gloria Feldt?

I’m Cofounder and President of Take The Lead, New York Times Best Selling author, leadership expert, and former CEO/President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and I'm excited to share with you the secrets and strategies I’ve learned over the years on what it takes for women to make unparalleled career breakthroughs.

How do I know this?

Well, I grew up in rural Texas, married my high school sweetheart and by 20 had had my three beautiful children. I started college when I felt vulnerable and fearful, realizing I had no employable skills. It took me 12 years to complete my bachelors degree and each and every day I felt like I was overcoming another obstacle.

But bit by bit, I turned my fear into the power to lead.

I know what it means to reach positions of power only to reap the isolation that comes when breaking gender stereotypes.

I know what it means to summon the courage to be heard in halls of power where women’s voices have often rung silent.

I know what it means to feel inadequate or to feel like an imposter because I didn’t have that ivy league degree or whatever perceived deficiency was messing with my mind at that moment.
